BSc, MBPsS, SGCP
My name is Isra Altayar. I graduated with a BSc in Psychology with distinction in 2004 and went on to do further diplomas in Social Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Child Psychology and health psychology with the Open University.
I work on a voluntary basis for the community, participating in weekly circles contributing to topics of spiritual and self-development.
I give occasional talks to students of varying ages in a community Saturday school on self-development topics, concentrating on issues most prevalent to today’s society. I have always been fascinated by the human mind and love working with people to help them in any way I can.
My interest in coaching and NLP stemmed from my big belief in positive thinking and effective action. Coaching is all about acknowledging individual past experiences with the aim of moving forward and that is what drives me to really enjoy my work.
I am trained as a personal performance coach (life coach) with The Coaching Academy, and have completed a level 5 diploma qualification (SFEDI accredited). I am a qualified NLP practitioner and a member of ANLP (Association of NLP), BPS (British Psychological society) and the Special Group in Coaching Psychology (SGCP).
I have the experience of coaching people on stress & anxiety management, career and business development, parenting and relationships, confidence, health and wellbeing.
I have a passion for working to change the lives of young people and adults and strongly believe that with the use of effective coaching tools and techniques, together with the knowledge and skills of NLP I can help empower you to make positive change and progress to achieve your goal.
