I was once a quiet, reserved child and teen who struggled with confidence. After earning my psychology degree, I embraced motherhood fully, and being present for my children has always been my top priority.
When my youngest started full‑time school, I felt lost and unsure of what was next. I believed I lacked the experience to make something of myself. I thought I had missed the boat, competing with people who seemed far ahead.
Though deeply grateful for my life and my family’s support, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was meant for more. A powerful calling inside me refused to quiet down. Alongside it was a nagging fear of life’s uncertainties and the desire to never be financially vulnerable. I wanted to feel secure, knowing I could always provide for my family.
I waited for someone to discover me, to give me an opportunity, to help me find myself. But life isn’t a Hollywood movie or a fairytale, no one came to my rescue.
That’s when I realised: if I wanted change, I had to invest in myself — for myself.
